Competition Rules

Read all rules carefully before participating. Violations may result in disqualification.

Rule 01

Eligibility

All registered participants with a valid MT5 account are eligible. Each participant may only register one account.

Rule 02

Starting Balance — $50,000

Every participant starts with exactly $50,000. This is a funded-style competition — trade like it's real money.

Rule 03

Max Drawdown — 10%

Your equity must never fall below $45,000. This floor is fixed from your starting balance. Breach it and your account is immediately disabled.

Rule 04

Daily Drawdown — 5%

You cannot lose more than $2,500 in a single day. Daily limit resets at 2:30 AM IST every day.

Rule 05

Ranking Criteria

Participants will be ranked based on their final account balance at the end of the competition. The highest balance wins.

Rule 06

Fair Trading

Account sharing, multiple accounts, cheating, or any attempt to manipulate results will result in immediate disqualification.

Rule 07

Manual Trading Only

EAs, bots, trade copiers, and automated tools are strictly prohibited. Only manual trading is allowed during the competition.

Rule 08

Prize Distribution

Winners will be announced after the competition ends. Prizes will be distributed directly to the winners.

How Drawdown Works

New to drawdown rules? Here's a clear breakdown of how both limits work — with real examples.

MAX DRAWDOWN — 10%

Your overall loss limit for the competition

Your account balance must never fall below $45,000 at any point during the competition. This limit is fixed from day one and does not change regardless of how much profit you make.

Your maximum loss for a single trading day

You cannot lose more than $2,500 in a single day. This limit resets every day at 2:30 AM IST, giving you a fresh $2,500 limit the next morning.

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and participating in the Alpha Trading Competition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, Competition Rules, and any future updates issued by Alpha Trading.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the legal age in their country of residence. Participants must provide accurate registration details and complete the official registration process before the competition begins.

3. Account Registration

Participants may register multiple competition accounts. Each account must be registered separately through the official registration form. Each registered account will be treated as an independent competition entry. Alpha Trading reserves the right to review, reject, or remove any account suspected of abuse, manipulation, duplicate identities, false information, or any activity intended to gain an unfair advantage.

4. Competition Account

The competition is conducted using a demo trading account with a starting balance of USD 50,000. Participants must upload a screenshot clearly showing the required starting balance during registration. Failure to meet the account requirements may result in disqualification.

5. Competition Period

The competition begins on the announced start date and ends at the official market close on the announced end date. Only trading activity performed during the competition period will be considered for ranking purposes.

6. Trading Conditions

All trading activity must be executed manually. The following are strictly prohibited:

Expert Advisors (EAs)
Trading bots
Automated trading systems
Trade copiers
Signal mirroring services
Account sharing
Any software used to automate or duplicate trades

7. Ranking & Winners

Participants will be ranked according to their final account balance at the end of the competition. The account with the highest final balance will be ranked first. In the event of identical balances, Alpha Trading reserves the right to determine the final ranking.

8. Minimum Trading Volume Requirement

To qualify for prize eligibility, winners must achieve:

🥈 2nd Place: Minimum 1.50 Lots
🥉 3rd Place: Minimum 0.50 Lots

9. Profit Withdrawal Policy

Only profits generated from trading activity are eligible for withdrawal or payout. The initial competition balance and any promotional credit are non-withdrawable.

10. Fair Trading Policy

Prohibited activities include trade copying, coordinated trading, hedging between accounts, exploiting platform errors, and using unauthorized software.

11. Prize Distribution

Prize winners may be required to complete identity verification. Prizes are non-transferable.

12. Public Leaderboard

By participating, you agree that your trading nickname, account performance, and ranking may be displayed publicly on the Alpha Trading leaderboard.

13. Technical Issues

Alpha Trading shall not be responsible for internet interruptions, power failures, or platform downtime. Participation is at the participant's own risk.

14. Right to Disqualify

Alpha Trading reserves the right to disqualify any participant violating these Terms & Conditions.

15. Modification of Competition

Alpha Trading reserves the right to modify competition dates, rules, or prize structures if necessary.

16. Limitation of Liability

Alpha Trading shall not be liable for any damages arising from participation. Trading involves risk — participants accept full responsibility.

17. Final Decision

All decisions made by Alpha Trading regarding rankings, disqualifications, and prize eligibility shall be final and binding.

18. Acceptance

By submitting the registration form, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and all Competition Rules.
